words: Let the good times roll!
On Saturday, April 4, the Scottish Rite will be hosting a Mardi
Gras celebration with an old-fashioned shrimp and crawfish boil to benefit
RiteCare at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center, 505 South Byers Avenue in
Joplin. There will also be BBQ and gumbo
available for those who are not able to enjoy the shrimp and crawfish. The evening will start at 5:30 p.m. with a
reception/cocktail hour, dinner at 6:30 p.m., and a live auction to begin
shortly thereafter. Tickets are $35
each. There will be door prizes, a
raffle, silent auction, live auction and a cash-&-carry store with all net
proceeds from these activities benefitting RiteCare. RiteCare is a non-profit
organization that provides resources for children with speech and language
impediments such as hearing aids, speech therapy, surgery and equipment for
clinics specializing in pediatric speech and language. For more information on RiteCare, or to
