The Joplin Outlaws are Joplin's premier summer collegiate baseball team, bringing top-tier talent from across the United States and showcasing local standouts. As proud members of the Mid-America League, we compete against teams from Arkansas, Texas, and Missouri, offering exciting baseball action all summer long. Home games are played at historic Joe Becker Stadium, where fans enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere and thrilling entertainment. Our season features 64 games, including 32 opportunities to cheer on the Outlaws right here in Joplin. Join us in celebrating America's pastime while supporting the next generation of baseball stars!

Since 1902, the Joplin Public Library has been fulfilling the information needs of citizens of Joplin and the surrounding community. The Library works hard to open tomorrow's doors today through diverse opportunities to learn, create, explore, and have fun.  Materials are available in a variety of formats -- books, audiobooks, DVDs, e-books, e-audiobooks, and streaming video. They also offer a robust WiFi network, meeting rooms, study rooms, programming for all ages, a makerspace, and a variety of other services. Helping to meet the needs of very young children and their families, the Library has the distinction of being a Family Place Library, offering developmentally appropriate opportunities for play and early literacy development. Their new building, built in 2017, serves as an example for other libraries of how libraries change to meet community needs in the face of changing times.

The Joplin Sports Authority is a 501c3 not-for-profit sports commission with the mission to attract, promote, provide and support local, state, regional, national and international sporting events to the Joplin area, which will provide economic impact and enhance the quality of life for the residents of the Joplin area.


Joplin Stone Company is a complete resource for commercial limestone products. We serve the construction and agricultural industries in the Tri State area with quality, economical limestone products.

We stock a complete line of plumbing, heating, cooling, waterworks, refrigeration, municipal and electrical supplies. Our principal customers are plumbing, heating, electrical, and mechanical contractors; commercial and industrial companies; electrical co-ops; and municipalities. Our trade territory, including our Joplin facility, covers a radius from Springfield of over 150 miles.

The Joplin Trails Coalition (JTC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating and maintaining multi-use trails in Joplin, Webb City, Carthage, Oronogo and Carl Junction Missouri.  We currently manage two trails: the Frisco Greenway Trail that runs through Joplin and Webb City, and the Ruby Jack Trail that goes west from Carthage, MO through Oronogo, Carl Junction, and on to the Kansas state Line. Both of these trails are Rails To Trails projects, meaning they are former railroads that have been converted to multi-use trails.

The Joplin Trails Coalition was established in 1991, as a nonprofit, grassroots organization. We are an all volunteer organization, and rely on donations and volunteers to build and manage the trails.

Joplin Transmission & Auto Center has been supplying the 4 state area with top quality transmission rebuilds and auto repair since 2003.
