The Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking a dynamic Digital Content Manager to develop and manage a portfolio of media properties that will include:

• An all new Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce website,
• An online business news publication,
• A "Why Joplin" talent and business attraction website,
• An all new Crossroads Industrial Park website,
• A spotlight video series, spotlighting local innovators, entrepreneurs, quality-of-life amenities, community events, and chamber programs, and
• Additional multi-media properties, including potentially a podcast, that will highlight and inspire our business community and attract both business and talent to our community.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in print and online journalism (both editing and writing); experience managing and customizing online content management software; managing and copy-writing for audio and video storytelling; and collaborating with contract videographers and audio technicians.

In short, we want someone who is passionate about storytelling and passionate about the Joplin business community.

Salary shall be determined by experience, qualifications and how well suited you are for the position.
