YPN EdTalk - 2019 10 Your November Ballot - Prop B
Visit with Police Chief, Fire Chief, & Prop B Citizens Task Force members about this proposal that Joplin residents will be voting on during the November 5 election.
Prop B is a ½-cent general sales tax dedicated to funding retirement plan changes to help improve recruitment and retention of Joplin Police Officers and Firefighters - because experience matters in emergency situations. This sales tax will be in effect no longer than 12 years.
