Mike Magoulas is the current CEO of Magoulas Enterprises, Inc. which is the parent company of Component Packaging in Joplin, MO. He has an impressive career journey including positions held as CEO of Boulevard Brewing Company, Vice President of MillerCoors, Vice President of E&J Gallo Winery and President of Wichita Distributors, Inc. YPN "ED" Talk with Assistant Chief Matt Stewart - 2015 08

Assistant Chief Stewart will be speaking to the group on "Leading in Times of Uncertainty"

Asst. Chief Stewart grew up on a farm in a small community south of Springfield, MO.  He has been with the Joplin Police Department since 2000.  He has held several positions within the department to include, Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, SWAT Operator, Patrol Corporal, Patrol Sergeant, Training Sergeant, Internal Affairs Sergeant, SWAT Operations Commander and Investigations Sergeant.  He has also been the Bureau Commander of the Special Enforcement Bureau and the Support Services Bureau.  In January of 2015 he was promoted to the rank of Assistant Chief of Police.

He received his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice as well as his Associates Degree in Law Enforcement from MSSU in 1999.  He graduated from the 2010 class of Leadership Joplin and was selected as the class speaker for the group.  He graduated from the Missouri Police Chief’s Command College in 2012 and graduated from the FBI National Academy in 2014.  He also completed his Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice in 2014.

YPN Gives Back is putting a call out for volunteers for the upcoming Wine, Women & Shoes event. Now in its ninth year with events in 25 cities, Wine, Women & Shoes is the fastest-growing charity event series created for women by women in the U.S. and has helped net $9 million for the charities who host this annual fundraiser. On August 29th Children's Miracle Network is hosting a WW&S fundraiser at The Roxy and Amelie Event Center. Guests will sip, savor and shop their way through an evening of fashion and compassion. WW&S will feature a multi-designer marketplace where fashion partners showcase the latest styles while guests sample world-class wines and culinary partners dish delectable nibbles.

YPN Night at MSSU Football - 2015 09

Alright all you LION LOVERS - are you ready for some FOOTBALL!?! Show off your green and gold as we head to the President's tent at Fred G. Hughes Stadium to cheer on our favorite MSSU players during the home opener game. $15 per person gets you your game ticket plus nacho bar and bottled water (cash bar and sodas will be available). So YPs, grab your spouses, significant others and friends and join us for a night of fun! Kickoff is at 7:00 pm but gates open an hour and half before game time. Enjoy live music in Touchdown Alley, visit some amazing vendors and enjoy games and inflatables for the kids as well. RSVP for your ticket by Wednesday, September 2nd. PARKING INFORMATION:
