YPN Gives Back to American Red Cross - 2017 10

YPN Gives Back to American Red Cross

When: Saturday, October 14th 9am-1pm (NOTE NEW TIME)

Where: Meet at Fire Station 1, 303 East Third

What: YPN will be helping the American Red Cross with their canvassing event to install smoke alarms. With the recent hurricane disasters, our local Red Cross has been stretched thin and needs our help to still make this event a success. The more volunteers we can get, the faster we can get done (and make our neighborhoods a little bit safer!). Volunteers will be shown how to properly install a smoke alarm and the paperwork involved, and then be split into groups of 2 or 3 with a list of houses needing alarms.

Snacks will be provided!
