The Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry is working on a new initiative aimed at positioning Missouri as a global leader for economic growth. The initiative is called Missouri 2030: An Agenda to Lead. We know that to be successful, we need to get input from businesses from every industry sector and corner of our state. That is why we have planned a series of regional meetings across the state in the next months to give employers an opportunity to hear more about Missouri 2030.
Missouri Chamber President Dan Mehan and Ted Abernathy, who is heading up the Missouri Chamber’s work on Missouri 2030, will lead the discussion of the meeting and will provide comparative economic data and results from our recent survey of more than 1000 Missouri employers. You will also have the opportunity to meet Tammy Long, the new director of the Missouri Chamber Federation, a grassroots network of Missouri’s local chambers.
We are setting
aside time at the conclusion of the meeting to ask the businesses in attendance what they believe should be included in the plan. We know that many strong initiatives are underway in local communities and regions. Through this meeting, we hope to learn more about these initiatives and discuss if some of these programs can be scaled or expanded statewide. We also want to learn about challenges your members face that could be addressed in a collaborative plan.
Please join us to learn how you can take part in this exciting initiative.
There is no charge to attend this event, but registration is appreciated to ensure proper accommodations are made.... More >><< Less
