The Facilities Manager position performs planning and coordination of all installations and refurbishments, managing the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards and inspects buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations. We are looking for an experienced Facilities
Manager to oversee all building related activities. You will be responsible for preserving the
good condition of infrastructure and ensure that facilities are safe and well-functioning.
Essential
Functions:
Oversee
building maintenance for three facilities.
Coordinate
custodial functions.
Ensure
security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly.
Ensure
that the facility is clean and maintained according to company standards.
Oversee
the quality of work of other maintenance employees and contractors to ensure
that all tasks are performed correctly, efficiently, and effectively.
Manage
and review service contracts.
Plan and coordinate all
installations and refurbishments.
Conduct
and document regular facilities internal inspections and coordinate local and
state external inspections.
Order necessary supplies and other
maintenance related items.
Make adjustments and minor repairs as needed.
Notify managers of the need for major repairs
or additions to buildings and/or operating systems.
Assist the Director of Small Business Incubation
in performing analysis and forecasting on both small business incubators.
Show lease space to potential clients and
prepare lease draft from existing template.
Be the primary point of contact for tenants.
Position is on the call list for the alarm
company if there is a disturbance at any of the three facilities and if
notified, is responsible for addressing the concerns of the alarm call or
contacting the Chamber Vice President or Director of Small Business Incubation
for an appropriate response.
Other duties as assigned by Director of Small
Business Incubation, Chamber Vice President and Chamber President.
