ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.
Welcomes and warmly greets guests.
2.
Provides
friendly, fast and efficient service.
3.
Informs
guests of any specials, giving details of how specials are created and
cooked. Suggests appetizers and desserts.
4.
Does everything to ensure the guest's dining experience is excellent
5.
Inspect table for proper presentation &
completeness.
6.
Relay messages to other servers & bus persons
as needed.
7.
Work with other servers as a team. Be willing to help co-workers as situations
arise.
8.
When walking by a table that has a dirty dish,
clear it whether it is your table or not.
9.
Memorize all items & inform guests.
10.
Remain in the dining area, visible to guests.
11.
Turn in food orders promptly & pick up those orders or any other orders when ready. Do not loiter in kitchen.
12.
Perform side work at the start & end of each
shift as required by service station assignment.
13.
Prepare final bill, present check to guest in a
timely manner. Make accurate change to
the guest from self-bank.
14.
The guest is to be treated with the utmost
respect.
15.
Never tell the guest “No” if you can’t fill the request, politely state “I’m sorry, we do not carry that brand”, “I apologize we are out of _”.
16.
Ask guests how they enjoyed their dining
experience & thank them for dining with us.
